Delisha, PA-C, MPAS, Master Aesthetic Injector

Act-1Certified Colon Hydro therapist

Hello, I am Delisha, a highly qualified medical professional with 38 years of experience serving civilians and military personnel. Ever since I was a child, I have had immense enthusiasm for working in the medical field.

I knew I was meant to help people feel healthier and better, and I successfully managed to turn my dream into a thriving profession.

My passion for offering people medical help first led me to volunteer at a local hospital as a candy striper. I would volunteer there every summer as a teenager, and it proved to be an incredible learning experience that encouraged me to further pursue medicine as a career. Eventually, I ended up enrolling in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and later in the Army Medical Specialist Corps as a Captain. Both allowed me to work in many areas of medicine while serving my country to the best of my abilities.

I graduated from the University of Washington in 2000 as a Physician’s Assistant and continued working in different specialties of medicine to grow my skills, including surgery. Soon after, I began to experience health issues, so I aligned my learned practices and experiences with alternative medicine for a holistic remedy.

My search for a suitable alternative treatment led me to the path of discovering its incredible wide-ranging benefits. For the first time, I realized how vast the collaborative differences between conventional and alternative medicine were and the healing power they could yield when combined effectively.

I believe that focusing on one’s health only when the body starts to show signs of stress, weariness, and illnesses is a disastrous approach. People should be attuned to their body’s needs and focus on preventative medicine treatments.

To promote healthier living, I now aim to incorporate my extensive medical experience with renowned alternative treatments to build complete preventative and corrective therapies. My ultimate goal is to create an inviting and compassionate environment to help people focus on their internal and external well-being for happier, healthier, and more relaxed living.

Aside from my vested interest in conventional and alternative medicine, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my friends and family, especially my grandchildren.

Dr. Renee Tai - Dentist,

Master Aesthetic Injector

Dr. Tai, obtained her M.S. degree in Applied Anatomy from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and her DDS degree from the Ohio State University School of Dentistry. She is excited to share her knowledge in the intricate relationship among facial anatomy, dental esthetics and a harmonious smile.

Since the release of an interpretive statement in the summer 2013 by The Dental Quality Assurance Commission which affirms the ability of general dentists to use botulinum toxin A (BTA) and dermal fillers, it has expanded its functions to address and treat patients’ functional and esthetic conditions. BTA has important clinical implications as an adjunct in bruxism, chronic TMJ and facial pain. It is also used to complement esthetic dental cases as a minimally invasive alternative to surgical treatments. Patients who suffer from minor inflammation conditions such as Angular cheilitis, for example, can benefit from reductions in pain frequency and intensity. Its therapeutic and analgesic properties can address intraoral neuropathic pain which might benefit patients who undergo orthodontic treatments or patients who wear dentures.

Dermal fillers can be utilized to address high lip line cases, uneven lips, and to make the perioral area more aesthetically pleasing. As we age, many of us lose our bone density causing gum tissue to shrink and teeth roots and “black triangles” to show when we smile. Other than tackling the issue with dental resin or veneers, dermal fillers might be an alternative or adjunctive treatment for interdental papilla deficiency.

In addition to treating dental patients, I am also an adjunct faculty at a dental hygiene program. The injections of BTA and fillers into the facial musculature and dermis requires a level of comprehension and finesse to achieve the desired outcomes. I hope my well-rounded knowledge and experience can enable me to address all of your facial and dental esthetic concerns

Cassandra - Massage Therapist

Hello, my name is Cassandra. I came to massage therapy approximately 14 years ago after working a few years on cruise ships and wanting something more stable. I immediately fell in love with the profession and can’t imagine myself doing anything else.

My greatest joy is to positively impact how you are feeling physically and mentally. My style is very diverse, and I can easily adjust to your specific needs to customize an experience that is right for you. Lymphatic Drainage is a very light pressure treatment affecting the superficial nodes that are just below the skin. Lomi Lomi is a slightly deeper, yet still light pressure massage meant to affect your emotional state and connect your mind and body.

Swedish Massage can vary from light to deep pressure and is used to treat injury and chronic pain. Deep Tissue is a type of Swedish Massage that affects the deeper muscles of the body and can sometimes alter the body in more significant ways. It is recommended that you drink plenty of water before and after any massage treatment to aid the body in releasing stored toxins. I offer all these massage treatments and many more therapies at U.P. Wellness Spa. I'm more than happy to discuss your specific needs to find the perfect treatment for you.
